My name is Alex and I am very glad that I stumbled into your blog! Here is why.
I am the co-founder of a site that is called Dopios (www.dopios.com) and its mission is to connect travelers with locals,or people who know a location well, for unique and authentic experiences and advice. You definitely seem to know the right people in Istanbul.
We started from Athens, Greece and we are now expanding in many more locations. Dopios was also recently featured on a BBC documentary (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/fast_track/9745758.stm) as a great initiative in tourism along side the Greek Minister of Tourism!
We are very new (we’ve been around for 2 months), but we are growing extremely fast. One of our next cities is Istanbul, and I wanted to get in touch to see if you can help us find great locals who can offer unique experiences and tailored advice to people visiting.
